Come on colts. I dont want to listen to Rex Ryan all week.

Jim Caldwell moves your barometer?

Huh? Rex Ryan just annoys the crap out of me.

Sports needs as many Rex Ryans as possible. Guys like him make sports fun if you ask me.

Better to have Rex Ryan than Lovie's [expletive] platitudes week after week.

Okay. But still, given the choice, i'd rather not have to listen to Rex Ryan all week.

Looked like Caldwell had pine tar on his hat there.

And I'm never going to get tired of seeing that Denmon shot in March Madness montages.

I've noticed that. There's something with those team hats. I thought the same thing about Sanchez' hat when he put it on after he came off the field.

The Colts are doing everything they needed to do to lose this game.

They've moved the ball pretty well, so hopefully they can stop being stupid.

Yeah. The thing is, though, if they score a TD on this drive they'll go into the half only down by 4. The Jets have played incredibly well and the Colts have been pretty bad, yet they'll still be within a score.

Yeah, I still like their chances. It just annoys me to no end when their defense decides to not show up in the first half. Their offense is doing pretty well, they just haven't taken advantage as much as they usually do.

The only time he's more annoying than when he's being faux cocky is when he's trying to be funny.

Many NSBBers are haunted by the thought that someone, somewhere has a personality.

Gus Johnson is basically the only excitable guy in sports that hasn't been ripped on NSBB by someone for being annoying, classless, etc.

well when your team sneaks into the playoffs in large part because the team they played in week 16 didn't try, and it's your first year in the league with a team that's a low seed, you might want to keep a lower profile rather than running your mouth every week.

Conversely, when you've coached a team within 25 minutes of a Super Bowl in your first year with a mediocre rookie QB leading your offense, maybe you've earned the right to speak your mind.

ok, i wasn't aware that he had coached a team within 25 minutes of the super bowl when he was running his mouth a month ago.

What did Ryan say that was so horrible again? It's possible I missed something pretty stupid.

I mainly heard stuff along the lines "I think we're a good team. We have the best defense in the league. We should be favorites." The horror!

Is "mediocre" a fair assessment of a first year quarterback? Don't most first year quarterbacks sit the bench or struggle in their first season?

The "NSBB Group-think" argument is getting really, really old. There's more than 4,000 members on this website, many of which have vastly different loyalties when it comes to non-baseball teams. There's going to be some seriously mixed feelings when it comes to the loudest representatives of certain teams. Get over it.

Some people are gonna like ________ _________ and some are going to find him incredibly annoying.

You can fill in those blanks with about a billion people. Chad Ochocinco, Carlos Zambrano, Rex Ryan, etc.

With a team composed largely of young guys who haven't won before, bombastic confidence is exactly what I'd want out of my coach.

Oh I know there are a variety of viewpoints. I'm just saying that there's always someone on NSBB to be offended over something totally innocuous.

Yeah, like the beliefs of others regarding a certain sports figure.
