I'd say Jason Kendall isn't half the player he was five years ago, but I'm not good at dividing decimals and fractions.

 

If runners were allowed to steal the pitcher's mound, Jason Kendall's CS% would still only be 15.9 percent.

They're absolutely not broke. Most of the eternal bottom dwellers have been getting more in revenue sharing money for the last several years than they spend on total payroll. Then you add in their ticket revenue and local tv money and the owners are making piles of cash. It's really pretty pathetic the way they do business and then claim they're broke.
