for cash considerations in the AAA part of Rule 5 draft. At age 22 Mota was 7-2 1.81 ERA with a 80k's to 19 walks in 89ip in the Dominican Summer league.

 

Hes actually from the White Sox minor league system.

Mota was in the Dominican summer league. 22 is really old for that league. Average age of 18.8 for pitchers according to BR. It's really hard to find much of anything in the AAA portion(Somewhere around 76 of the players in your franchise are protected(including the 40 man roster)

EDIT: just because ssr is faster and more informative doesn't mean he's better than me

Yea I understand he was older than he should be for the league. I know nothing of the kids arm, but the 4 to 1 k/bb ratio is nice. Probably won't amount to much, but I'd like to know what he throws etc...
