if the bears can hang on and sneak into the playoffs, anything can happen. they have a quarterback and they actually have some playmakers on offense. the cards were in the super bowl last year with a very flawed team.

as long as you have good players at a few key positions, you can win. if cutler gets hot, the bears could sail.

The Bears have to figure out a scheme that allows Cutler some time or gets receivers open faster. Otherwise our shiny new quarterback doesn't do us much good.

True but the Cards' playoff berth was assured due to a division full of crap. When I look at the landscape of teams ahead of us, and combine that with our remaining schedule, it makes me feel very dubious about our chances to make it.

Damn they just showed Devin Hester walking around Soldier Field this morning on ESPN's pregame show and he had a noticeable limp going. They said he's playing today though...I just don't know of effective he'll be.

Check out how similar Cutler and Warner are statistically this year:

Rating

Cutler: 80.8

Warner: 81.5

Touchdowns:

Cutler: 11

Warner: 11

Interceptions:

Cutler: 11

Warner: 11

Comp %:

Cutler: 64%

Warner: 65.4%

YPA:

Cutler: 7.02

Warner: 6.74

Times Sacked:

Cutler: 15

Warner: 14

Warner leads in yards 1,914 to 1,677 but has thrown 283 passes to 239 for Cutler. But they've been almost the same QB so far

Did he really think he was going to get away with such a classless move. I know cheap shots behind the refs back are common in the NFL, but that was beyond cheap, and was right in front of a ref. Seriously what a moronic thing to do. Cost the team 15 yards, and cost the team you in the rest of the game.

We're gonna get blown out...this defense is getting shredded.
