Derrick's attempted 13 3s in the last two games? wtf

I haven't seen the games. Is he just taking them whenever the D is sagged off or is he actively looking for them off the dribble? Man, if he can shoot 35% or so on decent volume that would be deadly.

A little of both, he's been looking for them since he came back, but the D is almost always going to sag off him when he's behind the line until he proves he can hit that shot consistently. It's nice to see. I think VDN said he's been working on it for awhile.

Had the best seats I've ever had for a major league sports game for that "game". I'm pretty sure Wade got the 2nd loudest ovation of the 10 starters.

Perhaps worse than the Bulls performance, at halftime they had about 50 people with a chance to win a vacation in Mexico. Shoot a free throw, and as long as you make it you go to the next round, until you're the last one to make a free throw. Of the around 50 people.... 3 people made their first shot.

James Johnson is starting to look pretty good. I'll give Pax credit for finding two serviceable, cheap rotation players for the future at 16th and 26th. He looked totally lost in the minimal time he was getting early on but his ball handling at his size really pops out on the screen. And he'll start to shoot it better too.

He also has plantar tendon problems just like Noah and Gibson. He's playing with a partial tear of it actually. Deng would probably be in an iron lung with that sort of injury.

It also tells me that the Bulls need better shoes.

I think it's gonna home down to the game in Toronto coming up. Toronto has already clinched the tiebreaker over us, so we are like a game back instead of 0.5 back.

i always get flip murray and rodney stuckey mixed up for some reason.

letting ben gordon walk is the best decision this organization has ever made, imo.

I'd be interested to hear you're reasoning for that. I was okay with not bringing him back, in large part because of 2010 Free Agency, but I'd hardly call it the best decision ever.

About the strongest argument that I think could be made for it is that Gordon had to be gone to let Rose develop.

ben gordon has basically been a below average shooting guard this year

the bulls would have been better off keeping thabo "2 ppg" sefalosha over gordon.

if you sign one decent free agent this offseason, you owe it to the decision to not re-sign gordon

I don't know about best decision ever, but it was absolutely the right call for many reasons. The biggest being that Gordon simply isn't worth anything close to the money he's being paid.
