Here's another one that was interesting to me: Who led each league in walks (batting)?

 

Of the top of my head:

 

 

Adrian Gonzalez in the NL.

 

I have no idea in the AL.

 

 

How could it not be Pujols?

 

 

After looking it up, I was right about the NL. I feel stupid not knowing the leader in the AL, considering it was mentioned several times during the division series.

i have no idea why figgins was walked so much. he has some doubles power but that's about it. most of the time if you throw him meatballs he'll hit singles; the worst thing you can do is put him on base for free.

that's what i've wondered about Jason Kendall for about the last 15 years, but really if you're great at hitting fouls pitchers will inevitably miss the zone on a few pitches
