This is stupid. No way Michigan should have Delaware freaking State on their schedule. It's like playing the first game of Tecmo Bowl.

Bradford's out again. The hit really wasn't all that violent. Makes me believe he shouldn't have been playing.

He landed the same way he did the first time he got hurt.

Yes, but you could see the brace on his shoulder, sticking out. Seems reckless to risk aggravation of that injury.

Michigan's defense looks awesome so far...

against Delaware St.

did the commissioner of the Big Ten mandate that ever team must play a 1-AA team or something? Insanity

In spite of all the injuries, I think Bradford is still happy as can be that he's not a Detroit Lion.

would he have been taken ahead of stafford? he doesn't seem to have the pro tools.

He would likely have wound up on a bad team, but a very rich man.

Oh yeah, he definitely wasn't 100%, so no matter how hard the hit was, anything similar to the original hit had a great chance to reinjure it.

I think there was a decent chance of it happening. Bradford was more polished and pro-ready, as memory serves me.

he just seems to be more statuesque, thinner, with less upper-body and arm-strength although moderately more accurate.

i don't think he would have made a great pro anyway and detroit would have been looking for a replacement in several years. with stafford, i think they have something. so, i'd imagine the lions are just as happy they didn't have to make a choice.

Ouch, that was a ver unnatural looking body position on the Clay tackle. He's down.

That would hurt the Badgers

He's up and walking around on the sideline, but it's clear something in his knee or ankle is bothering him.

I definitely agree Stafford looks like he could be good.
