What I love about Cutler is once he saw Davis break free, he didn't try to rush a throw or anything like that. He looked so calm, as he clutched and then tossed the ball to him.

They paid lip service to the lions but talk is cheap. They obviously didn't take this team seriously, and now they're caught without a solid plan to stop the lions on offense and their heads swirling from the shock.

This has nothing to do with being "surprised" and everything to do with this defense simply not being very good at all.

 

Yeah I have not been impressed with this defense at all the last couple weeks. They have been kind of skating by. It was just a matter of time before they got exposed in an ugly manner.

Don't forget, Cutler's Broncos team started out the season 4-1 with a series of very close wins (1 point over SD, 2 points over NO, 3 points over TB...blowout over OAK) before the bad D caught up to them.
