can't blame the refs there, Smith looked like the exorcist on that play

 

Give me a break. You can blame the refs totally. They let the Lions call that penalty

So we have stupid defensive planning, bad cornerback play, an idiotic penalty and then a horrible call on that drive. What a crappy start

Lions offense looked like crap besides the long pass play. We hypothetically should be able to keep them under 20 points today, unless the refs keep wanting to make game changing 25 yard phantom penalties.

Why do the Bears always have to play like crap to start the game? Hopefully the theme continues and we greatly pick up our play later in the game.
