Boise only up 20-10 midway through the third.

I know it's good for your guys, but that sucks for people hoping Boise would make some noise this year. There's no doubt that they're going to lose some votes this week and I'd be very surprised if they actually remained 5th in the polls.

Houston and TCU also not looking great. All winning, but not by the margin you would think.

Boise just made it 27-10. If they pile on enough in the 4th quarter then maybe nobody will notice. Most of these pollsters just look at final scores anyways. Case in point: 1994 Penn State visits Indiana, dominates most of the game but IU scores 15 points late to make the final score 35-29. PSU lost enough votes in one of the polls that week to slip from #1 to #2 and never regained that setback.

It's been raining a bit and it's in the 40's, but I have to say, Boise isn't looking all that impressive right now. You can tell that they're bigger, stronger and faster than UCD, but they aren't taking advantage of it. Fresno had the same advantages and kicked the crap out of UCD 51-0. I'm not saying that Fresno is better than Boise (which would be stupid since Boise won at Fresno), just that Boise's play has been a bit underwhelming so far.

Their goal line offense is horrendous. They've had five running plays inside the UCD three and haven't gained a yard on them. One drive they were stuffed on fourth, another they settled for a field goal, and a third drive they got a TD on a fade route after failing to run.

OU's offense is completely ordinary when it's not feasting on garbage Big XII defenses.

Actually, it's pretty much OU losing 4 OLs, a top-notch TE, and the Heisman winning QB is hurt. Ohh and the top WR on the team only played one drive tonight.

Not really, but ok.

They've been average at best against Florida, BYU, and Miami and record breaking against the Big XII. They've been figured out to an extent which was inevitable. Defenses weren't always going to be perplexed by that checking with the sidelines stuff forever.

But I think bowl season proved last year that a lot of the big numbers put up by the QBs in the Big XII was because of the horrendous defense that was played.

UCD turned it over on downs but almost picked Boise at midfield. Boise went 3 & out but time is kinda running short now. About 5 minutes left and UCD is inside their own 20.

The dream is over for UCD. Hell of a fight though. Boise better drop a bit.

Outstanding performance by UCD. Great on both sides of the ball and they didn't make any mistakes and didn't turn the ball over.

Yeah they needed to get that pick at midfield. Now it is just a matter of whether Boise wins 27-16 or 34-16.

Well I suppose they could kick a FG too.

TCU is pulling away from SMU but UTEP just took a 24-17 lead on Houston, early in the 2nd half.

For comparison, Texas put up 47 in the 1st half against UTEP and they only put up 53 total yards the entire game. They are dropping too even if they win.

Just got back from the ISU game. Holy God as a Bears and Cubs fan I don't say this often, but damn I didn't think a sports team could break my heart this much.

Anyone want to play QB? If I have to watch one more 10 yard comeback skip in the dirt I'm going to vomit.
