Cubs and Bulls pull some nice choke jobs. Your turn Hawks.

They're working on it.

Nevermind. Colin Fraser is a beast.

Nevermind. This team is the anti-Chicago sports team.

Q is one hell of a coach. Two weeks ago this team was in the [expletive], and he moved guys around, pushed all the right buttons, and they are back to their dominating selves. It's too bad that slump cost them a chance at the President's Trophy, but still, this is a damn fun team to watch.

So who would we rather play. The Aves or the Preds.

I think the Preds. Less chance of a hot goalie, less offensive juice when playing at full strength.

I'm just glad we can no longer get Detroit in the first round.

Things are looking up for this team. If we can win on Sunday and secure the 1 seed, the Hawks will have a very nice road to the WCF lined up

I was kind of thinking the same thing. We should be able to beat either though.

It'd be better if San Jose just lost tomorrow so we could take it easy on Sunday.

I'm somewhat glad about Detroit no longer being a possible first round opponent but, also, I was kind of hoping they would have been. All the crap about the Wings being the team no one wants to play in the first round is a load of bs, this is not last year's Wings or that of two years ago. They're not as good, they're not better the Hawks and the Hawks would have taken them in six games. I really wanted to see the Hawks beat them in the playoffs unfortunately, I don't think the Wings are going to make it out of the first round.

One of the main reasons I hope the Hawks and Wings don't meet in the playoffs is because I think it would probably be a toss up if all things were equal. Since Hawks would have home ice advantage I would think they would be favorites to win the series. To me there would be nothing more annoying then hearing a bunch of "changing of the guard" crap that would follow a Hawks victory. In reality there is no reason to believe that the Hawks will be better than the Wings next year with how both teams are positioned with contracts and current players on roster.

I'll let some other team test out your theory, thank you very much :)

I'm thrilled the Hawks won't meet Detroit in the 1st round!

Yeah, and there's also no real reason to think the Wings will be better than the Hawks next year either.
