It's hard to get an idea for his play listening online because John and Troy are so rah-rah about everything, but they made it sound like he made some pretty big saves in the first period.

Well we haven't played great on offense and we're getting outshot 18-14 and are -2 on faceoffs, but take a 1 goal lead into the 3rd. Hopefully we can put the pressure on and get a W here.

That turnover by Campbell was bad. I also thought their second goal was scored because a Hawks player went for a hit instead of playing his position leaving a guy wide open. My hockey knowledge isn't spectacular but I thought the fundamentals could have been better.

How many times has Campbell turned it over in our zone and had it lead to a goal? Seems like he does it once every few weeks. I remember he did it earlier this year, and he did it once last year in the playoffs that led to a GW if I remember correctly

He's kind of like Kane. You take the good with the bad and recognize that he's not a complete player. Hang that around Tallon's neck as well. Not signing Boyle for cheaper was criminal.

 

Hawks clearly played their worst game of the season last night and Niemi gave them a chance to win. He needs to remain the starter for now so we at least know what we have with him.
