even though i want the cubs to lose, i'm kinda glad that soto is playing well right now. he hasn't made any money off of the rookie of the year award yet; if he has a good year in 2010 he should be able to cash in pretty nicely. hopefully he is motivated in the offseason and has a big year, and hopefully the cubs have enough faith in him to not go out and sign some retread to be their starter in 2010.

I don't care what anyone says, Geo is absolutely huge this year compared to last. Big guy is right.

I'm not sure why anyone would throw Soto a fastball.

 

Because he doesn't swing at many bad breaking balls. He is a good hitter who had horrible BABIP luck this year.
