tried to post BP's recap of the cubs first three rounds and got this multiple times:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@northsidebaseball.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Been posting all morning without difficulty.

Same here

I guess the anti-truffle code I added with the upgrade is working perfectly, then!

This isn't a big deal, but ever since the hack and reboot I've noticed that the "First unread post" function is broken on any threads less than a page long (at least, I think that's the circumstance). When I click on it, there's clearly a server request sent, but then the thread switches over to already-read mode and stays at the top of the page.

Seems to work fine in longer threads, though.

What theme are you using? I haven't seen that behavior.

got this problem a lot today:

there was some other error about MySQL, whatever the hell that means.

this is actually pretty common; i find it happens most at about 3-4 AM central time. maybe that's why i notice it and nobody else does, because that's late afternoon for me.

Just to confirm: I regularly get this problem when I try to read the forum in the morning (which would indeed be the middle of the night across the pond)

Hitting the refresh button is sometimes enough, but on other occasions I need to wait - I figured it was server maintenance or something like that (which you would expect at downtime hours for regular users)

I've been getting this message too around 2:15 P.M. Eastern time, so it's not just a foreigner issue (although it would be nice to be able to blame it on them :P ). Specifically, I've been getting the message after I try to submit a post.

I've been getting email alerts when this is happening, but the hosting company can't find what's wrong with the server. I'm about to tell them to move the whole damn thing to another box because I'm worried about a looming hardware failure at this point.

I just got back on the site a few min ago. There was a good 15 min there (beginning maybe 30 min ago) that I couldn't get to NSBB or 312sports.com. No error, but only cuz I didn't let it clock long enough to get one.

update:

I've been working with the hosting company on this one. There were some tables in the db that were very highly fragmented, so we attempted to do a table repair. Given the size of the database at this point, that caused the load to rise to the point where mysql failed this morning. We'll continue the process over the next few days when the load is at low points.

Hopefully, that will take care of the issues!

Right on. I knew you were working on it, so figured any error reporting could only be helpful. :)
