Man...if the Bungles hadn't blown that game, I'd be 9/10 in my picks so far. Only missing on Tex-NYJ.

I really wish I was watching the Redskins-Giants game instead of Seattle-STL. Ugh.

former Bears great Cedric Benson TD with 38 sec left to take the lead

And yet somehow the game clock has changed from 38 seconds to 20 during the extra point with no explanation.

It's just been changed back to 38 seconds.

Toward the end of the first half of the UCD game last night, a timeout was called with 1:19 on the clock. UCD's stadium has a timeout clock that takes the place of the actual game clock and starts at 1:45. Somebody started that and the refs saw it counting down, thought it was the game clock, said to stop it, which they did. The refs then, still thinking it was the game clock, put 11 seconds back on. When the timeout was over, there was 1:30 on the clock. It didn't matter as nobody scored but I noticed it right away and wondered why nobody said anything since Montana was in scoring position at the time.

The head referee in the Arizona game just had a massive brain fart after a successful challenge by Singletary. San Francisco challenged a punt where they were flagged (wrongly) for having too many men on the field. They won the challenge but the referee said Arizona still had the ball. Then he had to backtrack from that, which caused a gigantic backstorm from the fans. His explanation was really awkward as well.

6-0 49ers.

And it's a turnover fest in Seattle.

Haha, that's awesome.

No kidding. I moved here for grad school and am thankful that the Bears and Rams almost never play at the same time this season (or so it seems). It's bad enough not getting to hardly watch the Cobs (well...) but not getting to watch the Bears would be a tragedy, especially with the RAMS as an alternative.

Edited for double post...good to see Romo come out good, if only for the fact we went to the same school.

He also said Arizona would be charged a timeout and then had to back track and say San Francisco will not be charged a timeout because they won the challenge.

It's his first game as an NFL referee.

So you picked all the favorites.

Jason Campbell is not a very good QB

Which isn't surprising given the fact that the Skins went after both Cutler then Sanchez in the off-season.

8 of them.

If the Colts exclude Bob Sanders from the lineup (like they so often do) they have a really crappy defense.

Ok...not sure what point you're making. I picked the teams I thought would win...those happened to be the favorites during the early games. My only point was that the Bengals losing burned me a bit. If you wanna pick a fight today...you'll need to try somebody else.
