Silly Question

Sorry for the lack of an answer, but you didn't have to be there to notice it - Fox's grand slam landed right in their section.

Fox's slam was one of the best moments I've ever had at Wrigley, right up there with the Karros homerun off Roger Clemens in the 2003 Wood-Clemens 20/20 game and seeing Sandberg's flag raised during the retirement of his number (thank you Stuy for inviting me along for that momentous occasion!)

I was at Wrigley on Saturday and noticed an entire section of fans in the left-center field bleachers with green shirts. Can anybody tell me what this was all about? Thanks.

They were in the park before gates open. From the type of crowd it was it looked like a boys and girls club or something. We had a ton of groups in the park that day; I'm pretty sure that's all it was.

Did you notice the completely wasted Jim McMahon whenever he is in public?

Fixed.

It was the Henry Schueler Foundation (http://www.henryschueler.org/). They were raising money for research into juvenile leukemia.

Thanks Wrong Sider and Roast. I assumed it was some kind of foundation. I lost my grandmother to leukemia, so any group dedicated to the research and prevention of that horrible disease is one I support wholeheartedly.
