Great.. 2 Greinke starts vs me. That doesn't bode well seeing as I had to pick up Kawakami just to get a 7th start this week.
Another case of my trash being someone else's treasure. :D

It's now official that Webb will wind up the season with negative points. He underwent shoulder surgery today and is out for the year.

Yeah, at first I was worried that these guys would go over 2000. They're still just barely over 1000 now and I don't have to worry about Webb coming back now. I might be able to keep another points guy at this rate.

My current keeper list projects to be:

C- Geovany Soto

1b-

2b- Ian Stewart

SS- Alexei Ramirez

3b- Alex Gordon

OF- Jacoby Ellsbury

OF-

OF-

U-

SP- Johan Santana

SP- Brandon Webb

SP- Roy Oswalt

SP- James Shields

SP- Brett Anderson

Teahen is now in my lineup at 3B because Zimmerman is out at least tonight with a sore shoulder and is listed as day-to-day.

Good week for both Bay and Cruz to be practically out the entire week. Bay did manage to come back for one game, injuring himself hitting a HR.

It might come down to total points. If you win out and I win out except for our matchup we'd be tied in both head-to-head and division record, so total points would be the applicable tie-breaker. I was ahead of you at the end of last week, but you've surpassed me based on current points this week. It could wind up being very close.

i benefit from you and todd playing each other.

i wish chuck would have used seven starts this week instead of five. actually, i wish he would have used three and NOT used the two that combined for -45. he could have won with three starts this week...

He didn't have 7 starts on his roster to use; he would have needed to pick up another pitcher (maybe even two) to get 7 starts. His pitchers were scheduled for 6 starts, but he lost one when Braden was scratched from his start.

Unless Don's Yankees (Posada, Cano, and Rivera) combine for worse than -5.25 tonight he will have wrapped up the East. He will have clinched a tie (4 game lead with 4 weeks remaining) and be assured of winning a tie-breaker due to beating Todd twice.

2nd highest point total this week and lost which makes up for the week against HBC. I gained some points overall though and the bulk of my difficult schedule is now gone.

Same thing's happened to me recently. Two weeks ago I had the third highest score but lost by more than 140 because Don's team had a ridiculously unreal week. This week I have the 10th highest score but win. I had that one coming.
