I'm shocked Koyie Hill can still stand upright after catching 24 consecutive games. That's just wrong.

Yes, yes, I know no other options, etc, but Fox could have caught ONE of those games, I think.

Did that really just happen?

Fontenot has been hitting some balls really hard recently. He hit 2 balls in Florida that in most other ballparks would have been HR's (a double and a good running catch).

We should all thank Harang for being terrible.

He never used to be, though. I always wanted the Cubs to trade for him at the deadline. He was one of my favorite non-Cub pitchers for a while.

He was great until Dusty starting forcing him to throw 120+ pitches every start.

He's thrown 120 or more pitches three times under dusty. Once last year and twice this year.

Dusty did let him throw 4 innings in an extra inning game after he started a game 3 days ago. He hasn't been the same since.

With a lot of pitchers, injuries happen and it's hard to point to an exact "Aha!" point where it all went wrong. But not with Harang. He pitched a regularly scheduled start, came out of the bullpen and threw 4 (I think) innings a couple days later and then made his regularly scheduled start a couple of days later.

His ERA before that relief appearance was sub 4.00 and going south every season. After that relief appearance, well, you get the Harang that you have now.

He went Rich Hill on Dusty. I don't follow the Reds close, but it seems like it is not a glaring health issue, just confidence/moxie however you want to call it

I realize Rich Hill was never as good as Harang in his prime, but seems sort of a valid comparison.
