I'm rooting for you because that would restore my three game lead over Adam (assuming I take care of business and win my own game).

Rays trade Travis Snider and Jerrod Parker to the Screwballs for Wandy Rodriguez.
Damn you, why couldn't you have made that trade before LAST night's game?

Just to screw you over!

Actually, I think Todd and I tried to make a Wandy trade a while back, but it worked out this time after a couple proposals. Todd has a really good starting rotation.

If things pan out, I think I've done a good job so far trying to retool my team. Wandy & Vasquez for Snider, Parker, Posey, and a 1st rounder next year.

I picked up Marte and Norris; my understanding is that's legit since they are now both on major league rosters. Marte has long since lost minor league eligibility and is on my reserve list. Norris is on my minor league roster since he still has eligibility. If there's any problem with this Juan can let me know.

Wow, that was a good move, NCCF.
Thanks; it was really a lucky case of being in the right place at the right time. I just happened to see a blurb about him being called up (I don't recall if it was on CBS Sports or Yahoo), so I checked to see if he was on somebody's team. I was surprised he wasn't, since he's BA's #2 Astros prospect this year.

Washburn traded to the Tigers. He better still start Sunday, or I will only have 6 starts this week with a 20+ point start on my bench.

On second thought this week is probably hopeless for me anyway, so I wouldn't mind if he starts twice next week instead.

Raisin gets an exempt pitcher, my best prospect, and a #1 pick. I'll keep Manny for next year and maybe fit CC in there but it's doubtful.

I wasn't saying it was a bad deal, just don't like seeing Manny and CC being added to my playoff competition.

With Pedroia and Lester no longer exempt, I was going to struggle to keep both of them along with CC and Ramirez. I'd rather keep the younger duo, especially as I fear a decline for CC coming sooner and sooner. I also really like Ubaldo.

I like the additions of Young, Marquis, and potentially Norris to my team. Young should be an upgrade from Jeckyl-and-Hyde Hardy, Marquis is assured of remaining in his team's rotation while Happ is not with Lee and Martinez joining the Phillies, and I might promote Norris sooner rather than later if he looks good in his first few starts and Harang continues to suck. Add that to my earlier trade for Cabrera and I think I've improved my team nicely. I just have to hold off Adam for the third playoff spot in the East (I'm not as cocky about it as I was a few weeks ago).
