They are gonna finish us off this weekend.

 

A series split seems like a victory for the Cubs to me - here's hoping we can get even that.

I don't see how we even split. Our offense is a joke. So is theirs, but they will still find a way to score 4 a game against us.

Lets place no blame on Harden here. Just throw him on the scrap heap along with every other ex-A's pitcher.

He was a Cardinal first. He didn't come up in the A's organization.

Our Rich Harden is broken, can we get a new one?

 

Next time Billy Beane doesn't want much for a guy, we should probably begin to wonder.

 

(Not that I wouldn't still take the deal).

 

The day Justin Ducherer gets off the DL, Billy will land somebodys farm system for him before he returns to the DL to stay.

History is littered with guys who found an inefficiency in a market, got rich, and could never duplicate it once the hole was closed.

Yeah, that's true. I still think he could win in a big market.
