NC Cubs at Saber Metrics

Quakers at Harrys Budcrew

The Fighting Manginos at The Eyes of Texas

Lynx at Valenzuela's Screwballs

Severe Tooterstorms at Tampa Bay Rays

Alamo Stealth at Tootielicious

Galesburg Hand Sanitizers at Northside Baseball

Fuzzy Logistics at Raw Dawgs

The game of the week will likely end up Alamo vs. Tootie. 2 good teams that will likely be in the top 3 in points this week.

I'm thinking NCCubs vs. SABR will be a close one as well as the Lynx vs. Screwballs.

I have no understanding with Alamo's staff how he's got the record he has!

Bad luck with the schedule. Played teams when they had a good week, for the most part. I know when I beat him, I had around 330 points that week.

I'm gonna need that many to win myself.

So far, so good. Of course, every week I'm in a close one, so that's an easy call. :)

Within 10 points at the moment and equal in remaining pitching starts, so it could easily go either way. Interesting that Harang and Davis pitched against each other in real baseball and they were only one point apart; both had great outings.

I have the worst defense in the league. :(

4th most points in the league. Most points given up, 200 ahead of The Fighting Manginos who have given up the 2nd most points. That gets me a 4-8 record.

Romero has been a steal for me. Correja (sp?) just got his ass handed to him by Houston. I'm hoping Carmona can come back to somewhat what he was in '07 and be my #5 starter, his 1st two minor outings have been outstanding. Of course, Ian Snell was even better at a higher level in his 1st minor league start, so I'm somewhat pessimistic.

can i put fox in midweek at 3b once he gets eligibility there (which he'll have after tonight)? i would assume that's similar to a guy getting called up from the minors or getting activated off the DL.

I don't know for sure, but it seems logical to me that you should be able to.

Hopefully Navin does well with the two starters tomorrow, I was hoping Adam would lose, but I am more concerned with NCCubs and that Buike will hold him off.

That's highly probable. I'm down by about 25 and out of pitching starts (he still has one remaining). Unless Haren pitches tomorrow like Harden did today I'm toast this week. You shouldn't be worried about me, though. The difference between 2nd vs. 3rd place is completely meaningless, since they play each other in the first round of the playoffs. It's 3rd vs. 4th place that's important.

Nice job by Alamo to likely pull out the win today.

Volstad crapped on me and so did Halladay in start #2 of the week. Oh well, can't win them all! Still have a 2 game cushion on 2nd place.
