How is he going to fit in that backcourt with Conley and Mayo? In theory, he's an improvement and a bargain over what they had behind them last year. But that goes out the window if he sets the young guards back.

He may well start over Conley, but I kept hearing rumors that they were looking for another PG anyway. I like Conley, but I'm not so sure the team is sold on him (at least right now).

 

I don't think he'll hold Mayo back at all.

I'm hoping they don't, but with the way they've (apparently) been pursuing a point guard this offseason, they may have. If nothing else, they're not ready to hand the reins over to him yet.

 

I'd dislike this Iverson signing if it was a 2-3 year deal, but at just one year I don't think it sets Conley back that much. And he may learn something on the court from Iverson as well.

I felt really bad for the others going in tonight. They were really overshadowed. But, came away from that with a ton of respect for Stringer. Her story should get a ton more play than it does.

I did also. The other entrees were much more classy than Jordan though. Jordan is the greatest player ever, no doubt, he is a bitter person though.

Umm he did say he was honored, but if that 1st paragraph or 2 isnt "calling him out" I really dont know what is.

I mean Russell himself said it was a "call-out" so not sure wha you are talking about Derwood.
