Why is he even playing? The guy is HORRIBLE

Because of his contract and the need to get him swinging the bat like he has his whole career. But,its pretty clear that he is not seeing the ball well and is pressing. Hes expanded his strike zone and is missing very hittable pitches. Playing him everyday and batting him third is just burying him deeper.
