I didn't say I'm upset he's not wearing a Cub uni, I said it is bittersweet. I am fan of the organization, of course, but I am a bigger fans of the players who play(ed) for the organization.

 

Why? That's very weird. I'm a Cubs fan above all else in baseball. I don't care who plays for them when they win a WS, I just want to see them win a freaking WS. I like Wood and all, but don't see how it could be the least bit bittersweet to see him give up a run to the Cubs.

But somehow seeing Kerry blow it doesn't make me feel all that great.

 

KW will always be one of my top 5 Cubs of all time. Even when I see him blow a save against the Cubs, is like a stab in the gut. It's bittersweet, I love it that the Cubs tied it, but it sucks it had to be at the expense of KW.

I'm a much bigger Cub fan than I am of any of the players. Once they put on another uni, I still remember the good times, but they are the enemy.
