Anyone else completely floored by Duval being a tubby? I mean I'm in no great shape, but I'm not getting paid to play golf either....

Dude used to be a rail.

But before that he used to be a tubby.

Phil birdies the 9th to get back to 1-under for the tournament, tied for 4th place, 4 shots back.

Also, some fellow by the name of Woods just barely missed an eagle putt on 13, but the birdie puts him at even par for the tournament, 5 shots back with 5 to play.

Oh yeah? Didn't realize that. I just remembered him like this before I saw him yesterday...

I don't remember what he looked like, but I do remember all the stories of him losing a bunch of weight when he emerged as a top player.

Henrik Stenson is now currently the clubhouse leader at 1 over. If I were him, at the rate things are going, I'd probably stick around and see what happens.

Bogey on 15 (probably the toughest hole on the course) leaves Phil one shot off the lead. Six players still playing within 3 shots of the lead, so it should go down to the wire here.

Tiger is currently the clubhouse leader at even par, 4 shots off the current play lead.

updates, please

Glover is up by 2 now with 2 to play. Duval just bogeyed 17 to drop him 2 back. Mickelson has bogeyed the last 2 to also have him 2 back and he has a long putt for birdie at 18.

Glover now teeing off on 17. GET IN THE HOLE.

p.s. it did not get in the hole, but it'll be a long birdie putt.

Slo-mo of from behind of phil taking his hands out of his pockets.

Now he's pacing as he approaches his lonog birdie putt on 18. (choker guy just put it right next to Glover's tee) and Phil misses long birdie by an inch. Easy par putt coming up.

Phil chokes again.

Barring a Winged Foot type disaster Glover SHOULD have this.

The guy with the horrible hat who came in with the lead and crumbled is the guy who choked. Phil made it interesting on a tough day for just about everybody.

Damn, Duval looks like just about every weekend hacker I've seen play.

Glover for par with a big breeze forcing him to take a step back. Now he's got to think about it.

It's good.

Duval with a potential birdie coming up on 18.

Duval misses birdie putt. Danny Glover leading by 2 teeing off on 18, slow, steady swing, stays on fairway more or less laying up.

Duval nails par putt to finish -2 while Hat Guy tees off long. He's still in the mix at -2 (+6 on day).

Phil bogeyed 15 and 17 after being tied with Glover. That is Phil's MO at the U.S. Open when he's in contention. Barnes was smoke and mirrors with that crappy swing of his.

That is his MO, but I don't consider it choking. He gets lots of bogeys and lots of birdies. It's a tough course today and he put up one of the best scores today.

Nice blonde cans cheering on Glover. For birdie. Leaves it ~3 feet short.
