Problem is, right now Soriano would barely be an offensive upgrade over Fontenot. Probably a minus if you figure in his likely defense. Dunn is obviously an upgrade offensively (at least currently) over Soriano in left...but man, the defense.

 

I think what's becoming obvious is there may be no single player/magic bullet that saves us this year. Our only savior may be our division itself.
