What happens on the mile, stays on the mile.

How about less hockey, and more baseball talk? We gave you your own thread just for hockey discussion. Keep it there.

Fair enough!

This one is going to be low scoring because Harden is going to dominate and we all know the Cubs can't hit bad pitchers with ERAs over 6.00.

Soriano will go deep and Harden will get through 7 only allowing 2 runs. Gregg will have a 1-2-3 9th. And be penalized for icing

Did you guys see this? He can't stop, ban him.

Guess you don't know much about hockey.

Don't hate it all things considered... wish Hoff was out there, though.

Hoff is getting royally screwed. Lee has look lost at the plate, and cant catch up to a low 90s fastball. Yet Hoff who has out produced Lee from the middle of last year cant get a start at 1st base. Glad to see Scales in there though, anything that takes at bats from Miles is a good thing.

Oh and after looking through the numbers, Im glad Marshall and Lilly are starting vs the Cards, instead of 2 rightys. Cardinals as a team are OPS'ing like .650 against leftys, and over .800 vs rightys. Lilly and Marshall need to start against them as much as possible.

Is it Moehler or Paulino? Either way, theres no excuse not to be into that Astros pen by the 6th at the very latest.

It's Moehler. I had Paulino in my lineup by mistake.

Thank god it's game time; my head is ready to explode after spending some time on cubs.com this morning. I've seen enough threads about Jake Fox playing second base, Vitters being traded for Bobby Jenks and Wells starting with Demp Closing to last me a lifetime.

I agree, but let's face it, he probably won't sit Lee unless he's hurt. This isn't Izturis v. Theriot or Scales v. Miles--he sees Lee as a team leader and someone he's gonna run out there everyday, regardless of production.

Yeah, team leader, salary, veteran status and defensive prowess is going to keep him in there over Hoffpauir more often than not. Fontenot is not normally a 3b, Scales is still pretty raw in the field at the big league level and Theriot's arm isn't SS caliber, so they probably see Lee saving a few baserunners with his defense at 1b beyond all the other stuff mentioned above.
