No, Im saying that Freel can go, and we can at least Fox a look at 3rd, and we still have Miles, Fontenot, and Scales to juggle in the infield.

Fox is mediocre at best at 1B. Something tells me he's not going to be a world-beater at 3B.

No matter how much you tell him this, hes going to keep beating the drum in every post he makes.

Fox is mediocre at best at 1B. Something tells me he's not going to be a world-beater at 3B.

So you dont think that Fox at least deserves a chance? The guy just wont stop mashing in Iowa. Give him a chance. If he cant cut it, I dont see Freel as a huge loss, and even if they dont want to give up on him, send Feelgood Bobby Scales down, and if Fox is that horrible, Scales is still available.

Its almost criminal that Fontenot and Freel are holding a roster spot that rightfully belongs to Jake Fox, or at least Ray Durham.

You are a broken record that just wont stop playing

Where does the Ray Durham stuff come from?

How in the world are you going to say that Jake Fox needs to be on this team over Mike Fontenot? Do you want Miles and Scales starting every day at 2B and 3B (with no backups at 2B, SS, or 3B)?

Not sure why you are quoting him.

This was meant to be at the West Side Rooter's post, sorry about that.

The only useful purpose Fox could serve on this team is as a DH in the upcoming interleague games, but something tells me Micah Hoffpauir would get the nod over him. Right now, he doesn't have the chops to play 3B, we already have two viable options at 1B, and the OF is cluttered. Remember how bad Ryan Braun was at 3B for the Brewers and how much that hurt them?

Fox deserves a chance, but I just don't see how he can fit on this roster. Moreover, there's no guarantee he'd carry over his success from Iowa to the majors.

Hes not going to hit .430 with a 1.400 OPS, but as good as hes been, I find it hard to believe he wont be able to do anything at the big league level.
