If you give up 6 runs to the Giants (with the Giants offense that's just about a week's worth of offense) you deserve to lose.

Oh, send Shark back down to AAA.

I was going to respond with some snarky post about how even teams like the Giants get 6 runs quite a few times during the course of the year, but they have only done it 4 times in the first 24 games this season before today. And yes, they are 4-0 when scoring more than 6 runs.

The Astros and Nationals are tied 10-10 in the 12th, so anyoen can score big runs.

At least I started Miles on my fantasy team today.

That's a very sad fantasy.

He's eligible at just about every position. That's what makes him so valuable.

That's what Dusty said about Macias. :banghead:

Do you get points for things like starts? He may qualify at multiple positions, but his numbers are awful.

So could DeRosa, only he had that nasty habit of hitting the baseball every now and then.

This game is a perfect example that the rules need to change for pitchers. Its ridiculous that a game where Marshall pitched so well ends up being what Stats show as a bad outing.

This is also a reason why Stats don't tell a story.

Congrats on being the 1% of fantasy players that see the sneaky value of Aaron Miles.

So because he can play every position he's valuable. Why don't you check with your league admin. and ask him to get my name into the available FA pool and qualify me to play 3B/SS/OF/2B. I will contribute just as much to your fantasy team.

You might actually have more value than Miles if you are in a league that has a hitting category for least "K's"

Missed the game today, but I assume it went something like "Forfeit lineup fails to produce against Cy Young winning pitcher". Who could've seen this coming?

Jeff Samardzija continues to justify the completely irrational call-up to the majors.

He wasn't all that good last year, he hasn't been all that good as a pro in general. Yet he seems to have a stranglehold on a job.

It's a good thing we don't need a 6th starting pitcher!
