With the exeption of Lee...there is not ONE position player that I would trade Rasmus for on the Cubs.

Who on your team do U think could be traded strait up for Ras? (taking ARam out of the equasion due to the injury factor)

why the hell would you trade rasmus for lee? that makes zero sense

So do scouts. And I think you need to watch that play again.

i think he misread it off the bat, but it's chris coste on an 0-2 count so i understand it.

and he's very good in CF. not as good as UZR says, but he's well above average out there.

that being said, he may not even be the best defensive rookie CF in the division. andrew mccutcheon is also quite good.

Looks like Colby's ROY run has hit a snag. He's down to .257/.309/.437. Anything that helps Randy Wells get some votes is okay by me.

Rasmus was helped a lot by a very good June, but otherwise has only been OPSing around .700. McCutchen has held steady at about .775 for two months.

Right now its probably Hanson, Wells, Rasmus, and McCutchen in the running for ROY, I can't think of any other rookie who is in position to contend.

Does J.A Happ not qualify as a rookie? No one ever mentions him, yet before his game against the Cardinals he would have won it unanimously.

What about Pablo Sandoval also? If he qualifies as a rookie, I'd say he's the runaway favorite, at least offensively.

He doesnt qualify, but he will still get votes.

LOL. Kind if like Edinson Volquez last year. You would think the voters might actually take a look at that before casting their votes. Just shows what a joke award voting is.

6 for his last 62 and no extra base hits...........

He's been brutal lately. His playing time has decreased because of his heel injury and the hiatal hernia thing is worrisome because of the weight he's been losing. Came into camp at 210 and is at 190 now.

Lately? Ill argue hes been brutal in every month of this season outside of June when he posted a 869 OPS, and even in that month he didnt take a walk in 84 at bats. Amazing he hit 333 in June and had an OBP of 333 for an entire month. He has alot of adjusting to do to become a everyday Major league player, 23 walks in over 300 at bats.

Nice to see him going in the tank right when I pick him up on my fantasy team.

Given that I am in a league with many of the BFIB, I plan on holding out and trading him in the offseason for a king's ransom.
