Team Stats:

Cubs are 4th in OBP and OPS, but 7th in SLG, and 9th in BA

3rd in Home runs but 10th in Extra Bases

2nd in BAA and K's, but also 4th worst in Walks Given

Only have the 7th best ERA while have given up the third least amount of runs

Also have the 4th best FLD%, but that probably doesn't matter

Stats are odd, aren't they?

Nothing like getting swept by the Pirates.

apparently the marlins aren't so tough when they're not beating up on the worst team in baseball.

It looks like the Pirates finally have a rotation that's halfway decent. I don't think their current pitching success is sustainable, but even if they end up being slightly above average pitching-wise, they might be a frisky team this year.

Or without their car.

Welcome to police school. The Pirates are the sheriff and the Marlins are the deputy trainees.

I just came in here to gawk about the Pirates sweeping the Marlins. Quite the interesting outcome. I wonder who this tells us more about.
