Yeah, Powlus gets a lot of crap because he was supposed to be the greatest thing ever and just ended up being pretty good (Beano Cook and Brent Musburger's speculation of "how many Heismans?" didn't help). He held most of the career passing records at ND before Brady Quinn came along, though.

Yeah, Powlus gets a lot of crap because he was supposed to be the greatest thing ever and just ended up being pretty good (Beano Cook and Brent Musburger's speculation of "how many Heismans?" didn't help). He held most of the career passing records at ND before Brady Quinn came along, though.

I wasn't, until I realized that he wasn't very good as a freshman. It just feels like he's been there for 10 years as bad as the Gators have trashed us the past few years.
