I fear a serious letdown, at least early in the game tonight. I just hope they come out as strong as they did in Game 5.

^Found that over at the Hawks boards this morning. Might have to make it my sig. There is another one out there with a putter and golf ball.

LOL, yeah the picture of Luongo sprawled on the ice after giving up a goal is hilarious, too.

I don't want to post too much of that stuff though, the series isn't over yet.

I hate that such a big game is not obvious about when and where I can see it. I'm fairly certain it will be on CSN Chicago's feed of the center ice package for me. But I'm concerned that when versus switches over to this game, after the Pitt game, the CSN feed will get blacked out, and my recording options will get screwed up. Hope that is not the case.

Last time Versus joined a Hawks game in progress, they did not immediately cut the CSN feed.

But overall, I agree with you. It's maddening. The good thing is that if you try to record something on Directv, if it's blacked out the DVR knows this and will just stop. So I usually just set both channels to record.

Did they eventually cut the feed?

Good, I set it to record and won't be home until about the 2nd period, so hopefully it stays that way.

Heard on the Score apparently, Luongo is predicting a Game 7 hopefully, he was talking about ANA-DET, BOS-CAR or PIT-WSH.

Alright that's it, if Luongo's going to get lippy then he leaves me no choice:

I don't understand the point, of course he's going to say he predicts a game 7, when the only other option is their season ending.

Hope he's a good golfer because that's what he's going to be doing this weekend!

Absolutely pumped for this one. Honestly, between that sporcle crap and this, I haven't even thought much about doing work toward, much less actually doing any.

I'm scared for the huge letdown, but I think we're due for the completely-super-freaking-awesome-killer win at home tonight. This is the payoff, tonight.

Thanks Rocky, for realizing your old man was a freaking dunce and for doing what needed to be done. And thanks Hawks for sucking for a few years so we could get Toews and Kane.

So any new word on TV details for tonight?

All I've been able to find for sure is that CSN is exclusively carrying the game in Chicago. I think if you don't have Center Ice, you're SOL until the Pens/Caps game ends on Versus.

Blackhawks To Hit One Million Fan Mark Before Game 6 On Monday

http://blackhawks.nhl.com/team/app?articleid=422308&page=NewsPage&service=page

The Chicago Blackhawks are on pace to welcome their one millionth fan during the 2008-09 season, which includes the regular season and playoffs, before the team hosts the Vancouver Canucks at the United Center in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Monday at 8:00 P.M.

The Blackhawks have hosted a franchise record 984, 233 fans in 45 home dates at the United Center, including 40 during the regular season and five during the team’s first Stanley Cup Playoff appearance in seven years. Chicago established a single-season regular-season attendance record in 2008-09, hosting 871, 337 fans in 40 dates at the United Center, surpassing the 835,971 set in 1995-96 (41 dates).

The Blackhawks set a National Hockey League club record by attracting an average of 21,783 to their 40 home dates at United Center (not including the 40,818 who filled Wrigley Field for the Winter Classic on New Year's Day) this season. Chicago is averaging 22,578 fans per game through their first five home contests of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Blackhawks, who are currently 4-1 on home ice during the playoffs, racked up 24 wins at the United Center (24-9-8) during the regular season, their most in seven years.

THE GAME IS NIGH!!

I don't think I've been this excited about a hockey game in my life!!

Do NOT disappoint!!

Posted
I've been waiting all day for this. I haven't been this excited since the 2007 NFC championship game. I hope this doesn't end like that one (of course if this one ends badly the Hawks have one more shot.)
