Can't say I have a good feel for how the league will play out this year. On paper, it seems more balanced. Anyway, looking forward to another season!

The first week is always nice with 2 start pitchers, but week 2 could be interesting. I need some rain to push back a start or two.

I also have a reliever for trade.

I haven't actually checked the schedule yet. Does it look correct?

Looks alright to me.

I made a post in the Live Scoring chat. I think I've got my chat applets working again.

If All Star Game week is going to be a one week match up again, I'm glad to see that this time it will be against out of conference foes.

The All Star Game is July 14th.

everyone should have two games against each division opponent and one inter-division game against each opponent. My schedule checks out - please confirm yours.

Coredro got torched last night (3 earned runs in 1 inning against the Reds' minor leaguers). Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in him (not like he ever really inspires confidence anyway). Fortunately I can keep him on my reserve list, at least for the 2 days or so before Percival's inevitable injury and trip to the DL.

A max of seven starts per week, we can rotate pitchers in/out to reach those seven starts, and we lose our best start of the week if we accidently go over seven.

A player can be taken out if he is day-to-day and put on the bench if CBS places an injured symbol next to his name. A player can be placed on the DL if and only if he is actually on the ML teams DL.

Just seeing if my memory is correct.

I'm pretty much at a talent disadvantage every week, but my goal is .500 for the year.

If you have enough grit, you have a chance...

Tim grabbed Fontenot right before I was going to pick him up, I'm lacking in grit as well. Although, I still have a high % of white guys.

I have available grit if anyone is interested. :)

That's my recollection as well. At first I wasn't sure whether it was your best start or your last start that got dropped if you went over, but it isn't always clear-cut what the last start is (your 7th and 8th starts could both be games starting Sunday at 1:00, for example), so I think it is the best start. That also serves as an incentive to avoid going over.

Jordan Schaefer - wow! My minor league team is off to a roaring start.

Maybe this is a dumb question but...

How can he still be on the minor league roster despite being named the starting CF'er?

I only know because I asked a week ago regarding Jordan ZImmerman...

A player is minor league eligible until he goes over the eligibility limit (200 PA, 10 starts, 20 pitching appearances). You can activate him earlier, but aren't forced to.
