So I have a ticket to Opening Day. Its like 3 rows from the field, but its in The family Section (a Non Drinking Section.) Has anyone ever sat here? I looked on stub hub a few weeks ago, and tickets similar to mine were going for around $200, while you could still find a bleacher ticket at less than $100. I dont want to sell it on stub hub because I want to go to Chicago and KNOW that i have a ticket. How hard would this be to trade outside Wrigley for a bleacher seat? Any thoughts?

Trading might be pretty difficult. Your best bet would probably be to talk to the ticket broker guys next to the red line station and see if they can give you a trade or anything. The do buy tickets so its a possibility. Just be careful - while i'm sure trades are fine selling tickets on the street there is illegal and believe it or not the cops do nab people on occasion. So if you're going to do that make sure you get away from the ballpark a bit.

I don't know anything about trading tickets and stuff, but I've sat in the non-alcohol section before because those tickets are usually a really good deal (especially if you're not planning on spending $50 on beer). It's just a few rows away from the Bartman seat, they aren't bad but it is basically like sitting in the first few rows of the bleachers only you have a back to your seat.

Yeah, exactly.

It's a real small section pressed up against the LF foul pole. It's a pretty nice view and you can actually see pretty much the entire field, which isn't the case for a few seats in the ballpark.

The family area is one of the better places to sit (from a visibility point)

Plus it's a nice break to deal with families instead of a bunch of twentysomething Trixies and Chads who are at the game just to socialize, power drink and text the entire time.
