i've got michigan not only beating clemson, but knocking off oklahoma in the 2nd round. how stupid am i?!

 

Oklahoma losing in the second round isn't too stupid, imo. They have one awesome player, one pretty good player, and a whole lotta nothing.

 

I'm not that high on Michigan, though.

 

I really wanted to pick Oklahoma to lose early. I had them tabbed as a second round loser before the tournament. I just don't trust Michigan or Clemson. I'd say Clemson would be more likely to beat them, but I'm not picking a team that finished the way they did. I also don't like Syracuse, Arizona State or Temple much either. So I'm left with Oklahoma in the Elite Eight -- which I still doubt happens. Oh well.

 

I went with ASU in the Elite Eight. I really like Harden and Pendergraph for some reason.

I have them in the Sweet Sixteen. I wanted to, but could not bring myself to pick them over Oklahoma.

March Madness on Demand is awesome.

 

It has to have absolutely killed Direct TV's Mega March Madness subscriptions. That's $70 when you can watch any of the games online for free. Plus I can pay attention to two games at once this way with one on the laptop and one on the tv.

 

They have 26 historical highlights from the last 26 years of the tournament. I knew the most sickening moment of my life would be included. Yet I had to check and for some bizarre reason, watched it again.

If you're not watching Memphis/CS-N, Northridge has not been dropping threes at will. Memphis has just been playing really sloppy basketball and might find themselves in bad foul trouble come the second half. Northridge has just been pounding the ball inside and getting guys like Evans and Dozier in foul trouble.

 

I'm guessing Memphis gets ripped apart in the locker room and dominates Northridge in the second half. Northridge really is not this good.

I have the Memphis-CS North game on HD on my TV and then the other two games on my two computers in high quality. This is awesome.

Memphis should pull away but with the foul trouble some of their guys are in and with how athletic Northridge is (by far the most athletic in the Big West), I could see them sticking around.
