This would be awesome to watch. I've always thought a team of baseball's best hitters with a few days of practice could outdo the top batting side in the word in a limited-overs match.

.....I have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, pip pip cheerio, old chap. I love watching cricket while having a spot of tea with the queen! Jolly good show, then.

Didn't Ian Botham try that transition the other way round once during his prime? (yeah, I know, my age is showing ...)

Actually, it's not, because I don't know who Ian Botham is.

English cricket superstar from the eighties - credited with winning the 1981 Ashes series against Australia.

I remember watching the final two days of the third test of that series with growing amazement on TV after Botham walked out to the wicket early on monday afternoon with England in a hopeless position - the rest, as they say, is history, and it was fun watching it live on TV.

i would much rather see ray lewis try an afternoon of rugby

Urlacher in his prime would have been an absolute beast of a center.

Devin Hester would only survive 20 minutes as a full-back, but it'd be a fun 20 minutes.

This.

I've watched a few rugby matches, and Urlacher in his prime have actually killed someone.
