I figured Wright, Berkman, Kinsler, and Sizemore. It's your typical CBS scoring league.

Graziamente,

I would probably go...

Berkman

Wright

Sizemore

Martin

The offense from Martin as a C is prob. worth more than the offense from Kinsler as a 2B.

Liriano and Peavy have minor health concerns with Peavy also pitching for a team that will likely only go .500 when Peavy pitches and Lee has to prove he isn't a one year wonder.

i'd probably keep kinsler over martin. martin fell off a bit last year. of course, i wish i wouldn't have traded him for joe blanton and jonathan sanchez.

To me, the obvious choices are Berkman and Wright, while the last two are difficult between Sizemore, Bay, Kinsler and Martin. I see value in keeping Kinsler and Martin due to the lack of talent at those two positions. At the same time, I can't decide who I would value more between Sizemore and Bay, as either one would be tough for me to let go.

So, I'll trust your instincts. Just don't do me wrong!

I'd keep Kinsler over Martin also, considering the home ballparks they plan in and since Martin is more susceptible to late season declines due to his position.

I'd be wary of Liriano and Peavy due to health.

Sizemore is a no brainer.

Thank you!

Ultlimately, I selected Berkman, Kinsler, Wright and Sizemore. I have the 9th and 12th picks. so perhaps Peavy and Bay come back :-)

Good luck to each of you this year, look forward to lurking over the trash-talking, complaining and fleecing!

Best,

V

TA, That other forum is wildly amusing. Ban Robbie permanently for the spitting incident? C'mon, now...

p.s. Bill Snyder back in the l'il apple, Don? Yikes!

They went overboard with the Alomar hate, I thought his punishment was fair.

Fwiw, Kent is better than both Sandberg and Alomar, but I agree that Alomar was better than Sandberg.

Haha! I love it! He'll actually coach the team. Prince didn't do much of that. We'll see how it turns out!

Does this league have like 6 players or does everyone else suck at drafting?

10 players, $1K first place prize. Ironically enough, many of them are in Naperville. Did the draft at Nevin's.
