Currently my receiving squad is mediocre. It's not terrible, but it's not great. My 4 WR squad is...

Marques Colston

Jericho Cotchery

DeSean Jackson

Derrick Mason

Nothing spectacular, nothing craptacular.... except for Colston. Obviously the injury makes him look bad, but he's been back for 2 weeks and has sucked. Antonio Bryant is available, and he currently has more points than any one of my WR. I'd like to keep Jackson, Cotchery, and Mason since they are decent enough to keep around for spot starts and what not, but is Colston pretty much a bust? He's hasn't done jack since his return. Does anyone think he'll return to form, or should I just dismiss him and drop him for Bryant?

I'm real close to doing it, but he was my top overall WR pick and his reputation precedes him, and I don't want to drop him thinking he's toast before he breaks out back to normal again. I can drop him for a guy I would start weekly, but if Colston returns top form, he'll be a weekly starter. But will he?

What would you guys do?

the only way i would drop colston is if he suffered a major injury and landed on the IR. brees and colston will have their magic working once again just in time for the fantasy playoffs. keep him.

Colston has had the best two seasons to start a career at WR in league history. You don't drop him unless I'm in that league with you. People who wait for injured superstars to return to form are the ones who tend to win the championship. I always try to trade for players like Colston because come playoff time I'm stacked.

If you have to drop a WR drop Jackson for Bryant.

Really? Why do you say that? Is Jackson projected to tail off and not be as effective anymore?

Reggie Brown is back and healthy, and Jackson already hasn't been anything special since week 2.

Colston had a good game despite the loss. 7 receptions for 140

And I kept him, thanks to your guys' help. Didn't start him though, sadly. I was lucky that Derrick Mason returned from an injury to score a small amount of points, because Cotchery blew this week
