put nfl, nba, and nhl game threads in the game thread forum

no one uses that forum in the offseason, why not? keep the discussion threads in social, obviously, but something like this:

no reason it shouldnt be in the game thread forum. there's no reason to keep that forum baseball exclusive.

I don't see the big deal with where they are now. It's just a thread in Social. Who cares if the Game Threads forum is dormant for 5 months. The Chat Schedule/Question for Guests, Chats, Honors and FAQ forums don't get anything posted in them ever, yet well still have those.

Also... I completely agree with Meph... the Bulls/Hawks/Bears Gamethreads get buried very quickly in the social forum.

Neither have left the first page of social since their respective seasons started, except maybe that week's Bears thread on like Thursday or Friday.

Yea they have multiple times. Hawks thread got to page 3 even. I usually try to bump them when they're off the first page (usually in the mornings when I first get to work).

 

But I mean, the title of the Gamethread forum is "Game Threads" Having 4 extra threads in there wouldn't hurt anything and would keep that chatter out of the Social Forum.
