what does this do to the top 25?

 

unfortunately texas is already ranked no. 1, so we can't move them up after their dramatic close loss to texas tech. they stay at no. 1. we're looking at one play (a great pass from harrell to crabtree) that decided the game and honestly that could have gone either way, so texas tech probably falls out of the top 10.

actually if texas scores here and then kicks the extra point, and it ends up being a one point longhorn win, then the red raiders should not receive a loss, since the extra point doesn't really count for anything and the game is really tied and going to overtime.

Same here. I'm not in favor of jumping one team over another team who is in their bye week, but with all due respect to PSU fans, Texas Tech deserves to jump PSU in the BCS poll.

no i was referring to the few times in the past that people have tried to run on the field after big penn state wins, only to be pepper sprayed or arrested. that's one of the great traditions of college football/basketball and rather than letting the students who pay hundreds of dollars to go to games celebrate, they treat them like hooligans. it's a joke.

yes but mephball also places very high emphasis on speed, athleticism and rivals' star ranking coming out of high school, and ball state fares very poorly in these areas.

It was when OU scored their 4th TD when I started watching the UT/Tech game from my seat in the student section. Usually where I sit, I can turn around and watch other games on the TVs in the club seats.
