Nice job, Tait.

But that's clearly incomplete.

How is that on Tait? He stopped the initial rush and the DE shifts into the passing lane. That's on Rex to realize where he is in the pokcet and not step right into his face.

Tait got bullrushed back to the QB.

Rex didn't step into him. Tait let him go right into the passing lane well in the backfield instead of pushing him behind Rex. What's Grossman supposed to do?

Typical Rex excuse making.

A good quarterback doesn't step up into the pocket and deliver that pass. A bonehead Grossman with zero pocket presence does. That pass rush was hardly one where a quarterback's decision making should break down.

How is that making an excuse for Grossman?

Did DeVries not push Tait 5 yards deep?

Grossman has for too many passes tipped which is why I want him more in the shotugun.

Because quarterbacks can't expect a perfectly formed pocket every time? It's not like the pass rush was so over whelming that he couldn't keep his eyes down the field. He never even saw the end shift into the passing lane.

Have we not seen enough Rex Gorssman at quarterback to realize he has terrible footwork and awareness in the pocket?
