I think some people consider Turner and Gore of similar value at this point. So I think Turner and D. Williams for Gore is a possibility. Is Boldin even coming back? Let alone healthy, is he going to be a shadow of himself due to psychological issues? I wouldn't touch Boldin if it were me.

Just punt this week.

 

Thing about that though, is we play 2 games per week. And this week, I got 2 division games. If I go 0-2, my 3 game division lead could be cut to 1 to the team that has beaten me twice.

 

I originally drafted better than this, but I picked up Breaston on waivers, White in a trade, and McNabb was going to be my backup.

This offer has evolved a little bit...Fitz and Julius Jones for Boldin and Evans. I'm killing on RBs (I still have Portis, Gore, and Ernest Graham on top of Jones), but don't have much depth at receiver after Fitzgerald. Would anyone else do this deal?

Boldin is a question mark and Evans has only made 16 receptions so far. Fitzgerald is a stud and will get more thrown his way until Boldin returns, if he returns. I think you would be giving up too much for an injured player and one that hasn't had a lot of touches.

I'm gearing more for the postseason (wks 12-17) than I am for now. I've already clinched making the postseason, so I'm trying to look ahead and set my team. Evans will be lining up against alot of weak defenses in those weeks. But, I think you're right, I'm going to ask for more. I also think Boldin will be more or less equaling Fitz by the time wk 12 rolls around, but I'm aware that's a large gamble on my part. I'm thinking he'll be rusty the first couple of games, then the defenses will start stacking on Fitz more and giving him more open looks. Let's see if I can get something else in return on top of that.

So, I offered the following trades.

 

Michael Turner and D'Angelo Williams for Frank Gore

Michael Turner, D'Angelo Williams, and Anquan Boldin for Frank Gore, Colston, and Roy Williams (before the trade to Dallas)

 

These to a guy that was starting Cedric Benson at RB.

 

He declines both trades, and proceeds to accept Willis McGahee for Roy Williams, after the trade of Williams to Dallas.

 

 

Another team who has Barber, A Peterson (keeper), and Forte as his RBs, he can only start 2. His QBs are Kitna and Jeff Garcia. He offered Barber to anyone in the league for a good QB. I offer him McNabb and Chargers D for Barber. He turns it down to accept Rivers, Ernest Graham and Titans D for Barber, Garcia and Derrick Mason.

 

I offered the other guy in that trade Michael Turner and Steve Breaston for Rivers and Ernest Graham (I was going to turn around and trade Rivers or McNabb for Barber), before he turned it down to accept that trade.

 

 

Another team traded Reggie Bush, Torry Holt and Brandon Stokely for Ronnie Brown and Laverneus Coles. I offer him the Chargers D for Devin Hester. He declines and counters with Hester and Randle El for Anquan Boldin.
