This is embarassing. Every single 3rd down in 3rd and long. We are dominating them the first 2 downs.

At some point they'll start backing off the safeties and a linebacker or two to see if the rest of the D can still shut down the run.

 

That time is now.

 

They're already backing off LBs on passing downs like crazy. More of that isn't going to help. To me this is a prime game to bring your most creative blitz schemes. Even some run blitzes. Put pressure on the kid. This is nearly a prevent style defense.

What the hell is he doing?!?!

He was trying to go right but was prevented by the Falcons player. He had no choice but to go left at the last second. It was not a penalty.
