Just think....a week from today we will..

A) Be talking about our upcoming NLCS opponent

B) Watching Game 4 of a tense NLDS series

C) Crying about another baseball season being over

1-0 MIN

3-1 CHW

We might even see two 1-game series :)

Actually, we could have three-ish. If Chicago wins, then they have to play Detroit tomorrow in a makeup. If Minnesota wins today and the Sox win tomorrow, then they play each other on Tuesday. If Minnesota loses today and the Sox lose tomorrow, then they must play each other on Tuesday. Finally, if the Sox lose today and the Twins lose today then the Sox must play Detroit tomorrow and win to cause a game on Tuesday.

Gaudin has looked back to normal today, I really wish he was part of the playoff bulpen, much rather him than Howry. Im sure Howry is gonna cost us at least 1 game *sigh*.

I suggest a sniper on the roof when he leaves the bullpen onto the field.

Hmm... WSH is losing (again), and that got me thinking... What's the most losses in a single season, ever?

ignoring the 19th century, 120. Detroit came close, 119, in 2003

And when they won their final game that year, they acted like they had won the World Series.

Don't the Mets hold the record of 120 in whatever year it was they were created?

Yeah. On a positive note, at least they didn't win only 20 games.

taken from brewerfan

Bush - pitched 3 innings today

Parra - pitched 2 innings today, and if he starts, it's a guaranteed loss

Suppan - 2 days rest following 5 innings?

Mcclung - 2 days rest following 4 innings?

Might have to be Gallardo for the Brewers, as McClung, Bush and Parra have all thrown multiple innings in this series. Pedro would go for the Mets, I think.

Bears fans, Moose has 8 catches for 147 yards and a TD for the Panthers today. Ron Turner should be fired immediately upon seeing that.
