Ozzie Guillen is no fan of the other team in town. The White Sox manager made that clear as he was leaving the interview room at U.S. Cellular Field last night, after answering a question about carrying the torch for this city now that the Cubs are finished. "Oh, [bleep] the Cubs!" Guillen said to a White Sox employee as the manager exited the interview area. Guillen said he's disappointed for some of the individuals on the Cubs. "I know the situation they're in, it's not easy walking in Chicago," Guillen said. "I sent a message to [Carlos] Zambrano last night. I said, 'Keep your head up. . . . You did what you're supposed to do, you guys just came up short.' Lou Piniella is one of my heroes. I have a lot of respect for him." (NY Post)

EDIT: I don't hope he dies, but I do severely dislike him. Also, I wouldn't exactly be crying if something minor to moderately unfortunate happened to him excluding death.

I hope he dies.

The sad thing is you're probably serious.

Ease up.

This is a non-story. Guillen has to worry about the White Sox first. Why should he care about the Cubs?

Did you guys see the girl at the Cell holding up the "Hey Cubbies, leave the postseason to us" sign during game 3? Pretty funny, especially considering the Sox were down 2-0 when she made the sign.

Nobody will ever confuse a White Sox fan with normal person with a working brain.

Who cares?

They made me do it... I've never rooted against the Sox, I enjoy watching Sox games. But after their whole organization (Ken Williams/Ozzie/Players/FANS) talking crap... it feels so good and I will let it be known.

It's the great thing about this country, I can take joy in them losing (for the first time in my life) and you don't have too. Don't you love freedom?

Didn't someone at the beginning of this thread say that the actions of WSI were not indicative of the fanbase as a whole? They absolutely cannot cheer for their own team, they have to root against the Cubs. Seriously, some psychiatrists need to study this.

Was she the only one at the game? Every fan base has their idiots. The actions of some does not reflect every fan.

Kinda like how Bears fans cared more about bashing Brett Favre in the offseason than worrying about their own team, right?

I'm getting tired of the "HAHA LOOK AT HOW MUCH THE WHITE SOX FANS HATE US" obsession some posters have, it doesn't make them any different than the fans they criticize.
