To date, 2008 the biggest celebration yet?

I was blest like many of you, to actually be able to attend Saturday's game when the Cubs clinched the division. I have a brother in-law who has attended more than one Cubs celebration in his life. He says that 2008 is by far the biggest, that there were more Cub fans in the streets than any other year. I got to admit, it was packed and it was a blast! What do y'all think?

2003 and 1998 were monsterous. I didn't attend any of them, but this was the least suspensful of my lifetime...

There was more last year I think.

 

I was there last year, and I don't think it rivaled 2003. But then again, it was a road clinch where the celebration came after the Milwaukee loss. I wasn't there this year, but it seemed that this was a foregone conclusion. The real excitement should come when/if they get past the first round.

Yea, the Cubs are going to have to get deeper into the playoffs than they did in 03 in order for the celebration to top what went down that October.

I still remember exactly what I was doing that whole day of the clincher in 2003.

 

Needless to say, that was by far a bigger deal.
