I guess Votto is kind of a Brewers killer

He's going to be a terror in the NL Central for years if the Reds don't do something boneheaded and trade him for a bag of peanuts and Jacque Jones.

One word:

Extremely dumb to have him out there on 3-days rest.

What choice do they have? They have what 9 games left?

I don't think that this is the dumbest move, but the previous overuse was stupid. You have to go for broke here because they are in a must win position.

Pitch him on normal rest to maybe get 2 good starts out of him, instead of 3 crappy starts. They pitched Suppan on 3 days rest yesterday and that didn't work out very well.

Could this new guy be even worse than Yost?

That I'll agree on.

Yeah, the 3-days rest isn't that dumb. It was the prior overusage, which you really can't blame Svuem for as it wasn't his call. He's in a must-win position right now and is doing whatever it takes. This one is on Yost.

They don't have any starters left. They used McClung in the extra innings game on Thursday and had to use Parra yesterday because Suppan sucked so bad. They have made mistakes in the past, but at this point they can't just give any games away so they really don't have any other choice.

Just go longer than the Cubs game. I don't care the result as long as the Cubs win and don't clinch with a loss.

I don't really care if the Brewers lose first, as long as the Cubs win their game. As long as that happens, I'll just remember that the Cubs won and that gave them the division and they would get to celebrate on the field following a win.

Lilly's ERA down to 4.09, are we still panicking about him or can we relax now?

Who has been panicking about Lilly?

I don't understand why Parra isn't out there.

Didn't Parra pitch yesterday?

The sky was falling because of him even a few weeks ago.
