On a related note, I've been peeking at transactions wondering why no one was dropping their players. I'm anxious to see what kind of player pool we will have for the draft. I'm guessing it will be stronger this year than in past years.

I'd say we should wonder how he won with that much crap on his roster, but CC & Lincecum were both abused down the stretch and racked up amazing points for him.

 

Too bad they'll be ruined for this year. :D

 

Manny becoming early 00s Bonds also helped.

 

I've been you two straight years in the playoffs with that much crap on my roster. :)

I also let go of JD Drew during the playoffs when his loser ass was on the DL with some fake injury. That's probably the best player I let go of.

Minor League: (Juan, I'd like to include Pie in my minors but I'm not sure that I can. If so please add.)

Pie is still minor league eligible; he hasn't had a major league season with 200 or more at-bats yet. You should be able to do it yourself, just by selecting Minor Leagues from the drop-down menu and re-setting your lineup (even though it seems like you can't drop players, you can still change the status of your players).

Yeah, '07 really pissed me off. I thought I had a better team than you last year, but it certainly wasn't my best roster. It did make me regret some of the deadline trades, though.
