I've never seen people have such a strong desire to stifle any sort of negative thought.

Why should we celebrate and encourage negativity?

Then we should become the "Chicago Cubs Happy Thoughts Board" and we can have the initials N-S-B-B placed over a giant rainbow with a smiling sun in the corner for a logo.

Yeah that was a little annoying for sure. But I'd rather people make random isolated remarks than 30 pages with 5% baseball discussion 20% optimism 30% negativity and 45% people calling out others being negative.

I just want you all to know that I'm probably just as pissed as you guys are, but I'm looking at the big picture here. Zambrano and Harden, by all indications, will be fine by playoff time, our hitting absolutely cannot continue to be worse (remember how bad they were after the all star break?) and we are almost certainly going to have homefield advantage.

At this rate, we're going to get swept out of the playoffs just like last year, after this great season.

Get all the suck out of them now and then let them do well in October.

are you watching this game?? No offense but people are frustrated we are fielding and pitching like absolute crap, this team has a history of losing. Peeople can be more than excused for freaking out following this team.
